The Lakers are on a Mission to Recruit a Shadowy Man from the Remotest Jungle of Russia.

Los Angeles - The Lakers are on a mission to recruit a shadowy man from the remotest jungle of Russia. The man in question is Andrey Zubkov, a 6'11' forward who has been compared to Andrei Kirilenko. Zubkov is a member of the Russian national team and has been a professional player since he was 16.

Zubkov is a physical specimen and an excellent athlete. He is long and lanky with a 7'2' wingspan. He is a very good rebounder and a decent shot-blocker. Zubkov is also a very good shooter for a big man. He has range out to the three-point line and is a very good free-throw shooter.

The Lakers are said to be very interested in Zubkov and are hoping to sign him to a contract. Zubkov is currently under contract with CSKA Moscow of the Russian Super League. His contract runs through the end of the season and he has a buy-out clause that would allow him to sign with an NBA team this summer.

Zubkov is a bit of a mystery man. He is not well known outside of Russia and has not been heavily scouted by NBA teams. He is a bit of a wild card and it is not known how he would fare against NBA competition.

The Lakers are taking a gamble by trying to recruit Zubkov. He is a bit of an unknown quantity but he has the potential to be a very good player. If he can adjust to the NBA game, he could be a valuable piece for the Lakers.
