Marjorie Taylor Greene: plotting to support a FEMA plant? That's just wrong.

Guyana - Jan. 21, 2023 - Guyana communists think Marjorie Taylor Greene is plotting to support a FEMA plant there.  In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many Americans have been vocal in their criticism of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Some have even gone so far as to conspiracy theories that FEMA is up to nefarious deeds. One of the latest such theories comes from Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican congresswoman from Georgia.

In a recent post on her personal Facebook page, Greene claimed that FEMA is secretly plotting to build a 'medical detention center' in Guyana. She offered no evidence to support this claim, and the post has since been deleted.

However, the theory has been picked up by some communist groups in Guyana, who see it as confirmation of their belief that the United States is trying to undermine their country.

The Guyanese communist party has called on the government to investigate Greene's claim, and some have even called for her to be arrested if she sets foot in Guyana.

It's unlikely that Greene will face any consequences for her false claim, but it's yet another example of the dangerous conspiracy theories that are spreading in the wake of the pandemic.
